Anstey and District Toddler Group is a small group of babies, toddlers and their parents and carers who meet once a week at West Anstey Village Hall.

Session Time:   Wednesdays - 9:30 to 11:30

We provide a large selection of toys to help develop all aspects of the children's development. There are plenty of large apparatus such as a slide, trikes, etc. as well as small toys. A craft activity is provided each week, such as painting or sticking. We also provide some kind of music from singing one song, to a session with instruments and movement. One of the mothers often brings her guitar to lead us.

The morning is very informal, but we try to sit down together to have "juice" and biscuits with coffee or tea for the adults. This is a good moment to exchange and discuss news.

Occasionally we have people from outside to talk to us, and we are trying to arrange for a beautician to come and offer massage or other treatments (she offers a special massage for pregnancy!)

This is a small but very friendly and supportive group. We are always delighted to welcome newcomers either to join us or on a one-off visit (very helpful for grandparents!)
